Description
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair heavy-duty truck components.
- Use diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals to assess and resolve issues.
- Accurately document repairs, findings, and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and maintain an organized work environment.
- Minimize downtime by monitoring daily operations, promptly completing repairs, and collaborating with team members on repair timelines.
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and other shop equipment.

Key Requirements
What You'll Bring (Requirements)
2+ years of heavy duty mechanic experience.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Knowledge of hydraulics, suspension, drivetrains, brakes, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with shop tools, PPE, and repair documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
CDL or ability to obtain one.
State inspection certification in required states.
Experience with drivetrains, trailers, or fleet maintenance.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or lie down.
Regular use of hand and shop tools.
Must lift and carry objects up to 75 lbs.
Exposure to loud noise, grease, fumes, and temperature fluctuations.
Work may take place indoors or occasionally outdoors.
Company-provided PPE (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, steel toe boots) required.
Must provide personal tools sufficient for heavy duty truck maintenance.
