Description
Skilled Maintenance performs all task assignments for either preventative and requested maintenance or repairs as directed to all Carnegie Museums MEP systems and associated equipment.
Qualifications:
education and experience:
- Minimum, a high school education
- NIULPE PE-2, CFC certification
- Extensive HVAC and refrigeration experience preferred
- Steam distribution experience preferred
license requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- NIULPE PE-2 license
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Working knowledge of MS Windows, Word and Excel.
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Understanding of historic and state of the art mechanical, electrical, life safety and building management control systems.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work from ladder and scaffold, climb, maintain balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, reach with hands and arms.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
SCHEUDULE:
- Position requires working various schedules and times including daylight, evenings, nights, and weekends.
