You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. **What You'll Do:**

+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, students, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, vehicle-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, vehicle access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access to designated areas and report suspicious activity, hazards, damaged property, or policy violations according to site procedures.

+ Assist with traffic flow, parking compliance, and visitor directions during routine operations and special events.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
