Sierra is opening a new location at the McCandless Crossing. We are looking to hire at least 35 associates. The positions that we are hiring for are Key Coordinators, Non-Key Coordinators, and Part-time Merchandise Associates.

Overview for a Key Carrier Coordinator at Sierra: The Key Carrier Coordinator acts as the Manager on Duty when store leadership is absent, overseeing daily store operations, opening and closing procedures, and customer service standards. This role is responsible for supervising and coaching associates, directing task execution, ensuring store safety and security, and handling escalated customer or operational issues to maintain a smooth and productive work environment.

• Sales Floor & Merchandising: Directs visual standards, promotional displays, and overall presentation.

• Backroom & Freight: Oversees truck processing, inventory organization, and stock replenishment.

• Front End / Checkout: Monitors cash office operations, customer service counters, and cashier efficiency.

• Pay Range: Typically starts around $15.25 to $15.75 per hour (varies based on geographic location, local minimum wage, and individual experience)

Overview for a standard Coordinator at Sierra: The Coordinator oversees specific functional areas within the store, acting as a working leader who drives daily task execution, trains and coaches associates, and ensures merchandising and operational standards are met. This role collaborates closely with store management to prioritize workflow, maintain visual presentation, and support an efficient, customer-focused store environment.

• Pay Range: Typically ranges from $14.25 to $14.75 per hour

Overview for a Part-Time Cashier / Associate at Sierra: Part-Time Associate supports daily store operations by providing friendly customer service, operating the cash register accurately, handling transactions, and processing freight to keep the sales floor neat, fully stocked, and visually appealing. This role ensures a welcoming shopping environment and assists customers across various departments as needed.

• Pay Range: Typically ranges from $13.25 to $13.75 per hour

KEY CARRIER COORDINATOR
Experience: 1 yr retail, 6 mos leadership/key-holder experience.
Availability: Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Skills: Superior communication, attention to detail, fast problem-solving as Manager on Duty, task delegation, team coaching, and adaptability to shifting priorities.

PART-TIME CASHIER / ASSOCIATE
Experience: Retail/customer service experience (register operation) preferred.
Availability: Flexible schedule for evenings, weekends, and seasonal shifts.
Skills: Accurate cash handling, friendly customer service, strong communication, multitasking (lines, bagging, answering questions), teamwork, and physical capability for standing and lifting.
