GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Technology is an important tool in the hiring process. In 2020, with libraries and schools closing their doors, Pittsburgh Hires Veterans has seen just how much limited access to technology can impact the process of finding employment. Our Veteran Resource Center provides veterans access to the technology they need for job searches, resumes and job interviews.

This Giving Tuesday, all funds raised will be used towards upgrading the technology available in the Veteran Resource Center at the Pittsburgh Hires Veteran’s office.
