**Overview**

**Position:** Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA)

**Location:** Select Specialty Hospital - Pittsburgh (located insite UPMC Montefiore)

**Schedule:** PerDiem/PRN 12-hour shifts, Days & Nights Available

**Compensation:** $19.00 per hour, plus competitive shift differentials for weekends

**Sign-On Bonus:** $1,500

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair

+ Participate in hourly rounds

+ Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs

+ Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs

+ Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition

+ Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed

+ Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

+ Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)

+ BLS is required within 90 days of hire
