Description
As the Community Engagement Lead, you will lead the support and retention of girl members by creating, coordinating, and ensuring the delivery of quality Girl Scout Leadership Experience for girl members from grades K-12 who participate in the Community Engagement programs. The Lead serves as a liaison between the program location and Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania. The Lead facilitates programming primarily in Allegheny, Beaver, Greene, and Washington Counties, and leads a team of Community Engagement Facilitators who provide programming in Cambria and Erie Counties and throughout our council footprint.
Key Requirements
Degree is Human Services or related equivalent professional experience
· Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience managing staff and/or volunteers
· Experience in a related field with proven effective community development, marketing and membership results
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines and benchmarks
· Top-notch communicator who can confidently present to large groups
· Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook and ability to learn new systems
· Must be organized, detail orientated, and customer-focused
· Ability and willingness to work primarily on-the-road with minimal time in office
· Potential candidates should be comfortable traveling throughout the designated areas on a regular basis
· Able to work flexible hours to include days, frequent evenings, and some weekends
· Have reliable transportation
