Ready to take the lead in a high-impact, fast-paced environment? As the Manager of Central Sterile Processing, you'll play a vital role in ensuring surgical teams have exactly what they need-when they need it-while driving quality, efficiency, and team excellence.
Schedule
+ Evening or Night Shift
+ 5 (8-hour) shifts per week
+ Rotating weekend manager call
What You'll Do
You'll oversee all sterile processing operations while serving as a key partner to Surgical Services and clinical teams across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead Daily Operations: Ensure efficient, high-quality sterile processing and supply workflows
+ Support Off-Shift Teams: Provide leadership and guidance to supervisors and staff during evenings, nights, and weekends
+ Partner with the OR: Act as a liaison between the OR, SPD, and other clinical departments to support instrumentation needs in real time
+ Maintain Throughput: Keep department operations running smoothly and efficiently to meet surgical demand
+ Drive Performance Improvement: Analyze data, identify trends, and implement process enhancements
+ Build & Develop Talent: Mentor, coach, and evaluate team members while fostering a positive, collaborative culture
+ Ensure Compliance & Quality: Maintain adherence to regulatory standards and best practices
+ Manage Budgets: Oversee operating and capital budgets, including forecasting and variance reporting
+ Optimize Instrumentation Processes: Support instrument tracking, standardization, and turnaround improvements

What We're Looking For
+ Education: Associate degree in Nursing, Business, or related field
+ Experience:
+ 5+ years in Central Sterile Processing or surgical Technology
+ 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
+ Skills:
+ Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
+ Proven leadership and operational management skills
+ Certification:
+ CBSPD or CRCST (or ability to obtain upon hire)
+ 10 CE hours annually required
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to stand for extended periods
+ Lift, push, pull up to 35 lbs
Licensure & Clearances
+ CBSPD _or_ CRCST certification
+ Act 34 clearance
