Responsibilities include:

+ Administering contrast per protocol under direction of the proceduralist.

+ Demonstrating proper patient positioning and radiographic techniques during all interventional procedures.

+ Reviewing patient history, assessing physician orders, and applying department-specific protocols.

+ Documenting relevant patient information in the electronic medical record.

+ Maintaining a sterile and safe environment during procedures, including time-out protocols.

+ Clearly communicating instructions and educating patients to reduce anxiety and encourage cooperation.

+ Ensuring accurate coding, image tracking, and charge entry in RIS and PACS systems.

+ Displaying professionalism and empathy in all interactions with patients and coworkers.

+ Collaborating effectively with team members across departments to support efficient patient care.

+ Assisting with general radiographic procedures in other areas, as needed.

+ Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**

+ ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist is required.

+ CPR or BLS Required.

+ CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

+ ARRT Certificate

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

+ Act 34
