Tony Accamando rose to the rank of Army First Lieutenant, fought in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1971. Thirty years ago, Mr. Accamando co-founded Veterans Cable Services, a small business that employs Veterans to install wiring for cable companies. He started the venture to help fellow Vietnam Veterans and now provides opportunities for a new generation serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Mr. Accamando has a long career of helping Veterans. He also co-founded Friends of Danang, helping to raise money for humanitarian projects and has launched Life Changing Service Dogs for Veterans.
