I connected with Pittsburgh Hires Veterans through Semper Fi Odyssey earlier this year. My wife and I moved here from Jacksonville North Carolina after finding a job through PHV. My experience with Pittsburgh Hires Veterans was GREAT! Its FREE!  Every time I had a question, Jack would pick up the phone right away and help me out. My first hit for an interview was at Rivers Casino and I got a job offer from them shortly after. I jokingly suggested to the Rivers Casino about getting my wife a position and they found a job for her as well. Services from PHV were fast responding. Anything and everything got done.  My first visit to Pittsburgh was through SFO and my wife’s first time was for her job interview. We love it here in Pittsburgh. I have already recommended PHV to other veterans still in the service.

I learned about Pittsburgh Hires Veterans from a few pamphlets that were on my base. I had a very good experience with PHV. When I came to the office, for my one on one, they asked a lot of information on my preferences and background and really had my best interest in mind. I worked with Jack who stayed on with me for like 2 months. Always calling me to see how things are going, providing me 3-4 different leads, and following up.  He was always willing to endorse me. PHV stays on top of things. I would highly recommend PHV.
