Description
- Maintain and support continuous improvement of manufacturing facilities, tools, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Perform duties of assembler, welder, machine operator as instructed by management.
- Perform routine operations and safety inspections of the plant and plant equipment.
- Repair or maintain hand tools, power tools, machines, and plant equipment; install, assemble, or start-up new plant equipment under direction of Engineering; perform required annual testing on equipment or machines as needed.
- Maintain, configure, or adjust machines to produce items in specification, including all bending and coiling machines.
- Fabricate or modify production parts using hand tools, power tools, and plant equipment.
- Install or upgrade basic electrical wiring, plant air tubing, or network wiring.
- Maintain plant grounds and buildings, including landscaping, painting, construction, or structural repairs; maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the entire facility.
- Work in conjunction with management to schedule and prioritize workload, ensuring completion of high-quality work in a timely manner.
- Accurately complete documentation requirements to accompany all assigned tasks; promptly report job progress or roadblocks to management in oral or written format as required.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company work instructions, standards, and procedures.
- Effectively communicate job knowledge, procedures, processes, and best practices to fellow employees as needed.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management.
Key Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
One years’ relevant work experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to receive and understand work instructions in a written, verbal, and digital format.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to offer innovative solutions.
Use basic hand tools and power tools.
Read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Safely operate a forklift, hand truck and pallet jack; Acquire forklift operator certification.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical equipment.
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
Strong computer skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet usage. Ability to use an iPad. Learn the Maintenance Management System.
Passing score on the Maintenance Technician test as provided by Mosebach.
