The Historic Homewood Cemetery, located in Pittsburgh's Point Breeze neighborhood, seeks reliable lawn, landscaping and grounds keeping worker who is ready to seize an opportunity to develop a full-time career.

Hours are 7:30am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday with Saturdays in rotation.

Applicants must have reliable transportation (bus line ok). Work includes cemetery grounds keeping, mowing, trimming and other cemetery related labor as assigned. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs., work outside in varied weather conditions, work both independently and as part of a team and present themselves in a professional manner at all times.

Compensation starts at $15/hour with potential to fast-track into the Union, with higher wages and benefits, after a short probationary period. Higher starting compensation possible with previous cemetery experience. Outstanding employees who show dedication and great performance ability can achieve a rewarding career. Great room for development including wage increases based on the Cemetery's ongoing needs. Ideal candidates have experience as a general laborer, construction laborer or landscape laborer.
