Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Human Resources Partner to help grow and support our military-affiliate workforce. In this role, you will oversee recruitment, training, and development, manage performance, and foster a supportive and compliant work environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to empowering military service members and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring: Lead initiatives to attract and onboard veterans, transitioning service members, and military family members.
Training & Development: Coordinate training programs like the Assembly Training Program and support new hires as they transition into contracting roles.
Employee Support: Provide guidance, mentorship, and resources to ensure a smooth transition into civilian employment.
Performance Management: Monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to HR policies and workplace safety standards.
Community Engagement: Build relationships with military and veteran organizations to strengthen recruitment and training efforts.
Qualifications:
Experience in human resources, recruitment, or training, preferably with a focus on veterans or military affiliates.
Strong understanding of the needs and challenges of transitioning service members and military families.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of HR compliance and best practices.
