We are a 1 year old shop with a great reputation and a fun working atmosphere that is hiring for an experienced technician. Owner has experience as a technician, service writer, parts counter and service manager and is looking for a technician that enjoys the automotive world as much as I do. We currently have a technician with over 40 years experience and a lube tech and have grown to needing one more technician which could be you. We pay hourly and are open to a schedule that works for you. We do have a bonus program where you can earn up to $12,000 if you are the right candidate for the job. Need days off during the year, no problems we are here to work with your schedule. Tools and knowledge are required.

Duties:

- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and transmission failures.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and provide accurate repair estimates.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive problems.
- Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, painting, and panel replacement.
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed for vehicle repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repair procedures.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is required.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles is preferred but not required.
- Sales experience is a plus.
