On Aug 12, 2024, at 2pm Eastern time, the IRS will be conducting a virtual résumé writing workshop exclusively for veterans.
It is intended to give veterans valuable insight when writing a federal résumé, such as translating military skills to “civilian language,” how to read a job announcement, and put the best package forward when applying for a federal position.

The workshop is scheduled to be conducted with the help of HR specialists, who are the chief reviewers of résumés submitted for consideration for our positions.
After the presentation there will be a Q&A session.

The IRS is hiring Veterans, and they are hosting this event to help Veterans write an effective resume.
