changing lives – by unlocking and nurturing human potential for people living with emotional, behavioral or cognitive differences

Company Information

TCV Community Services was founded in 1973 as a provider of supports and services for individuals with cognitive differences in the Monongahela Valley. In 1980, a federal grant established the organization as a community mental health center and services expanded to include outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential treatment and case management. TCV expanded services to the Steel Valley communities in 1981.

In 2022, TCV became an affiliate of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit behavioral healthcare providers, serving children and adults, and their families, across 12 states.

Today, TCV offers a full continuum of care for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral health challenges. Through its affiliation with Devereux, TCV will continue to enhance and expand its programs to provide the highest quality care for the individuals and families it serves.
